Glassbead blasting

This surface treatment uses glass beads as shot, in order to clean the surface. The hardness and the percentage of broken glass beads is such that a mild abrasive treatment results.

During treatment more glass beads will break, thereby increasing the abrasive character of the surface treatment. If this effect is undesirable the process conditions can be optimized.
